Being a ‘bonne vivante’ as they say in France—our founder, Marie, loves the art of good living and revels in life’s refined pleasures—apéritif has always been a favourite occasion.

Apéritif is synonymous with weekends, holidays, or simply quality time with loved ones. It’s a moment when everyone pauses, coming together to share in the conviviality before a meal. It brings together our favourite delights: fizzy drinks to spark the appetite, salty treats, beautiful glassware, laughter, and the excitement of what’s next.

This occasion always sparked so much joy and excitement, and why she wanted to create a product which has this magical power of bringing people together.  

A NOD TO FRENCH HERITAGE

Our mission is to share the French apéritif tradition with the world by infusing it with contemporary elegance and the joy of living in the moment.

Celebrating our founder's French heritage, Bellamie's recipe was inspired by the classic French 'Guignolet' liqueur - a delicious traditional recipe which is slowly being forgotten with time. We craft it using the famed Montmorency sour cherry, amongst other carefully selected varieties, to preserve the essence of the original recipe.

INFUSED WITH LOVE & NATURAL INGREDIENTS

Unlike most aperitifs on the market, Bellamie® is crafted exclusively with real fruits and natural ingredients. We deliberately chose to avoid using any colouring or flavouring agent to ensure the most authentic and enjoyable tasting experience.



It is crafted through meticulous maceration and blending of cherries, cherry blossom, a touch of cognac, and a delightful combination of cherry and apricot stones.

The resulting Bellamie® liqueur is an indulgent celebration of tradition, quality, and exquisite cherry flavour, with subtle yet delightful notes of roasted almond and sweet baking spice:

NOSE

Delightful aromas of hawthorn berry, red apple, marmalade, nutmeg, cinnamon, plum, blackcurrant, and a prominent note of cherry.

PALATE

A vibrant mix of red currant, blackberry, raspberry, raisin, marzipan, and cassia.

FINISH

Silky red fruits bloom upon opening, coating the mouth and leading to a satisfying finish of baking spices.
